Spotted these pics. We've all seen the Chet ad, but I just noticed that two of the Gents behind him have different body thicknesses. One of the Bigsby end-pieces is noticeably higher on what appears to be the thicker Gent. I always thought single-cut Gents came in at 2" thick. Don't think I've seen that particular Webster and stereo Falcon pic before.

Gents were 2.25" thick from the beginning. The thicker guitar in that picture is a 6120.
I think by 1961 the Gents went to a 2" body and stayed there until they went double cut in `62.
Actually, in late 1961 and into the beginning of 1962, the Gents went to one and three-quarters inch thickness before going to double cuts
