Good morning GDEPEEEEE!
Whyn't we start the day with a wide open mystery question, good for a Gretsch Playboy amp T-shirt to the first best answer?
And this is one you can't look up on the intergoodlepediator. (I think.)
What is it?

What is it?
It's a picture of a cardboard box, a covered amp and some sort of metal leg/support, with a metal barrier fence in the background.
A Playboy Amp and cover
a Gretsch Playboy amp under wraps!
looks like that new Anni amp (125)th.
Gretsch Executive amp and cover?
Very existential question, Proteus.
How about: A Gretsch amp fetishist's wet dream?
I was going to say the 125th annie amp.
Ah, some very good answers. We have the encyclopediacally literal (thanks Jimbo!), the educated guesses and hopeful wishes, AND the esoteric (again from Jimbo).
But no cigars yet. I need a better answer before I spill these beans, so here's another pic to help you out a bit.
Is it a white falcon amp?
I'm assuming we're going with the one answer per question rule again?
Since I was there last night and saw it, I'm going to disqualify myself. Besides, I already bought the T-shirt. ;)
White Marshall Bluesbreaker?
125th Anni Executive Amp?
With a Gretsch amp cover?
Sitting on the ground next to some bike racks?
A new variant of the Gretsch Variety we have never seen before.
Proteus obviously doesn't need much sleep.
I don't know, but that is a nicely made amp cover. The handle deosn't match the other Gretsch amps I have seen on the web. The white color reminds me of the limited edition amp that was posted on the Gretsch Pages a couple of weeks ago.
I think you guys are right when you say that it is the 125th anniversary limited edition Executive amp. This time it is under wraps.
EDIT: Since I already have a shirt, I hereby remove my answer if it was even right.
But Joe gave us a sneak of this a bit ago. Its nice looking.
Alright! We have a winner(s). LDC gets props (and a shirt) for being first to correctly identify it as a Variety.
And our boy Boyko nails more of the details - proving he pays more attention than I do. I hadn't seen Joe's post about it, apparently. But he already has a Playboy shirt. We'll have to think of something else for him too.
Lots more pics, and the rest of the story here.
Oops, I had been humming and hawing about removing my post, as I had known LDC got it and just put that up for the heck of it. I guess I'll still accept your prize Proteus
I had put up, before editing it: Gretsch 125th Anniversary Variety amp, in a niiiice Gretsch cover beside a box and a metal pole. Did I miss anything?
New swag!
Shown larger than actual size, and in a horrible photo (with my apologies), an official fabric Bigsby patch for your jacket.
Easy question. First three right answers win: What did Mr. Bigsby do before he designed the whamelo we know and love?
He built Crocker motorcycles.
He was a motorcycle builder...Cool bikes too!
He was a motorcycle engineer and racer (?) (and did some things for Indian IIRC) and a general handyman and tinkerer, and made Merle Travis' solidbody guitar.
