Miscellaneous Rumbles

What are you listening to right now??

Elvis, Bossa Nova Baby (remix), dubbed onto a Fred Astaire and Rital Hayworth dance routine — and when Rita Hayworth shook it about a bit, it certainly stayed shaken.

I drank the Cliff Gallup Kool-Aid!

I was fortunate enough to attend the Gretsch NAMM concert featuring Cousin Harley, Duane Eddy and Jeff Beck with Darrel Higham who played a set of Gene Vincent and the Blue Caps. Right after I bought Gene Vincent - 6 Classic Albums Plus Bonus Singles which includes his first 6 albums, singles and TV appearance recordings. So far I am on the Cliff Gallup tracks and haven't gotten past those yet.

I made a playlist featuring all 35 songs Cliff Gallup played on in chronological order. There are 2 tracks I had to download, Teenage Partner and Five Feet of Lovin'. These songs were on the CDs but they were not the Cliff Gallup versions.
