  5. Glad you're back Gary. I knew the Boss upstairs was going to see you through this. He's been confusing my doctors for years. Whatever task he has given us, I hope it ain't over for a long time.

  6. I can slide bye new kids on the block I can imagine them being someone else relevant. on the other hand I have problems pronouncing vanilla ice. I don't think I know who that is.

  9. Hang in there Gary. When I had my TIA, my inability to say what I wanted to say was one of the symptoms. I know your situation is more serious than mine was, but I still believe you will overcome. It just takes time.

As someone who has dealt with multiple TBIs that left me with long term memory issues, inability to read or write for periods of time, and comprehension issues (and this coming from someone who previously had a photographic memory) I know how frustrating it can be. Take your time, take a deep breath, acknowledge that there will be times when you just can't come up with the word you're looking for, and just keep moving forward.
