I'd like to add my condolences and prayers. It's incredibly impressive, however, to read through these posts. It's the only form of immortality we can actually see, and I hope it offers some comfort.

As others have said he was almost a part of the GDP itself, and it is hard to imagine not seeing his avatar sprinkled through threads. Thanks for bringing us this sad news Beatles6120, and my best to you and your family.

I just got home from the GDP Roundup and came here first...
I don't know if Scott ever gave anything I posted a second thought, but I always valued his contributions, for all the reasons that everyone else has mentioned. He was never afraid to put his heart on his sleeve; I surely always liked that.
And yes, he was certainly one that I hoped to meet at one of these get-togethers that we've been having.
Mitch, I grieve your loss -- I cannot imagine losing my brother before his time.
And, after this weekend and experiencing the GDP becoming a real-on-earth community, I grieve our community's loss.
Paul

When I found out about this I was shocked. So shocked. Most of us meet here and we see type and an avatar and little else so when something like this happens it's always so sudden feeling and you can't help but feel ripped off that someone was taken so quickly without giving us all a chance to say goodbye.
I loved his wit and posts. He was one of the greats on the board.
RIP Zuma.

I don't know if Zuma ever realized what a huge impact he had around here and how much he was loved, but I sure hope he did.

What a great guy. He was one of the first to welcome me to this site five years ago. I have always appreciated his presence here; to me he was part of the soul of the gdp. It was Zuma and others like him that keep me coming back to this place though I haven't bought a Gretsch in the five years I've been around. The caliber of people who post here and the tight-knit sense of community are what sets this place apart from the other forums I frequent.
Thank you Mitch for posting this here; I can't imagine what it'd be like if he stopped posting and we didn't know why. This way we can all pay our respects.
Zuma you will be missed.

Sorry to hear about Zuma. I never got to meet him, but we emailed a few times over the years and I always considered him on the short list of friends on the site. I hope his legacy prevails for decades. Ed

I am so sorry to read this. Scott and I met thru the GDP, and became friends; he was even able to get my wife out to attend some open mics near where he lived. He was a wealth of knowledge about many things, and his jeep with the big USAF star was a trademark that stood out whenever he visited our place.
Alicia and I will keep you and yours in our thoughts.

Hey Otterbean, all that insignia on his Jeep is sign work that Scott had me do. It was such a pleasure to work with him on his projects. He always had something up his sleeve.
God bless you Scott Wolf!
