Yes, I understand that the Pres or the VP aren't the one's spending the money. However Bush pretty much had carte blanche to do what ever he wanted early into his first term, hence the economic state we're in right now.... We do have a spending problem, and we're not likely going to get out from under it any time soon. Do you really think McCain will cut taxes? How's he going to fund what's in place? There will certainly be NO deficit relief with less funding coming in.

It's too bad that many Americans feel they again have only to choose between the lesser of two evils. The framers of the Constitution never meant for it to be a two-party political system, but the Republicrats do a good job at keeping third-party candidates off the ballot.
