in point of fact, there are substantial questions about Obama's citizenship. under US law, a child born to a mother younger than 18 years of age cannot automatically acquire US citizenship. Additionally, Obama's relatives in Kenya all say that Barqack was actually born in Kenya and only registered as a birth in the US. Of course, this could all be clarified if Obama released verifiable birth records...but as with his college records, his law clients, the minutes of the Annenberg group meetings, and even his medical records, Obama refuses to release his documentation. why?

Dubkitty said: "under US law, a child born to a mother younger than 18 years of age cannot automatically acquire US citizenship". First, Obama's mom was 18. Secondly, if that's actually true and if McCain wins and Palin is VP, then the granddaughter of our VP will not be a US citizen. Are you really sure that's true? I'm not a constitutional law professor like Obama was or anything, but that sounds like a doozy. Oh and by the way, here's his birth certificate. Your arguments might benefit from a few seconds of "googling". And providing sources would certainly bolster your argument. http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/washington/2008/06/obama-birth.html

Regarding Dubkitty, LOL since when were conservatives concerned with checking their facts. C'Mon! they don't have time for fact checking when they're too busy with global dominance, invading countries who didn't attack us, suspending habeus corpus, torturing people, setting up secret prisons, and spying on American citizens!

Both these guys are US citizens and born in such a manner that they are both eligable to be the President. Children of US military personal are exempt from the requirement of birth in the continental US and besides we occupied the panama canal at that time.
Obama was born in the US and there is not a shred of evidence that he was born elsewhere. Nor that he is a muslim, etc. Just bad internet rumors.
Lots of other reasons to vote against either one of them or both as you have the right to do.
But more importantly Bonedaddy says Palin is a Les Paul player. What would Obama play an Epiphone "Elitist", McCain a telecaster with worn finish and scars. What about Biden, something with P-90s extra loud.
Lets have some fun with this, your opinions, what would each of these cats play?

Biden, I'd say he plays the Tele.
Obama, I think he plays Rickenbacker lightshow

Ladies and Gentlemen:
My apologies for running out on you this afternoon but I was unexpectedly called out of the office and just got back in.
However, my compliments to my fellow forumites. Once again you all have proven that we can engage in a very controversial and divided issue and still wind up on a good note. As Norm stated, nobody will change their mind in such a discussion but it is good for discussion. Our country, the USA, is divided on many issues; but that is part of what has kept us strong and together. I may jump right in there and bad mouth my big brother with you; but the first time you take a swipe at him I'm all over you.
I almost always refrain from participating in discussions such as this. Be it good or bad, I'm just not that crazy about controversy; plus I know that when everything is over, everyone still believes the same way anyway.
There is a high degree of quality here and you good people have once again proven that fact. Thank you, and I sincerely mean that, for allowing me to participate here with you. It is a privilege.
Thanks,
Richard

Actually a more likely prediction is that after everything is over neither one will do a damn thing.
The difference between a Democrat and a Republican is this a Democrat thinks good things about his moral superiority and Republican thinks bad things about everyone elses moral inferiority.
