Trivia Result, and a new question.
According to the 125th Anniversary Gretsch poster timeline, the Electrotone appeared in 1962; everyone has the features right.
I'm going with the first three 1962 answers. More clothing to Mark S, Gretschmaster, and Ratrod.
Sunday Trivia 3
For a very cool black button-up Gretsch workshirt emblazoned "Mr. Guitar" on the back, the question is:
What was the original name of the Dynasonic pickup when it first appeared, and who was the manufacturer?

Ratrod said: I was referring to the Electromatic hollow body.
I know, but the Electromatic body is not the only body worth checking out, as Proteus illustrates for us.

I was out all week-end and miss the party.
Super job Proteus and amazing namm coverage.
Please don't forget me and post pics of port side models. Can you ask if they have plan on making the 6119-1959 left handed. How about a custom shop 18'' Eldorado?
Thanks.
I'm ready for the next trivia.

Now, that is specific! But, I did note that you didn't indicate on which floor they were located (a la the Gretsch Custom Shop in Corona).

That's the story they want you to believe: they were actually designed in the deepest bowels of the Hoover Building as a way for the FBI to infiltrate the Rockabilly scene....Duane Eddy is secretly their best operative in the field.
