How many guitars do you have?

  1. 6 electric and 2 acoustic.

I'm trying to sell Rickenbacker 360/12C63, so maybe that counts 5 electric... :|

  2. I have six playable guitars, one bass, and a guitar on the operating table at Curt's shop. Total = eight.

  3. Gretsch- 5120, 5122 Epi'- Casino, DOT, SG, EJ-160, EJ-200 Squier-CV'50's Tele, CV'60's Strat Agile-AL2000 gold top w/mini's Fender MIM- Waynes World modded Strat Rockinbetter-12 string electric hollow body Espana-classical 1964 Rogue-violin bass SX-jass bass

All high end guitars have left the building... These all work for me!

  4. 9 Electric Guitars, 1 acoustic, 1 mandolin

  5. About this many.

  6. the upper end of social. down to 6 (the kids guitars dont count towards mine)

  7. ettuce's picture reminds me of the hallway at the last RoundUp I went to.

  8. RIGHT? 8-o

  9. My picture makes me suddenly realize why this place seems so much smaller than it did 10 years ago. Add 5 or 6 more amps than I had then and, oops. I'm surprised my girlfriend doesn't complain more.

  10. Six (2 Gibsons, 1 Gretsch, 1 Epiphone, 1 Strat, 1 classical). I've owned 40-50 guitars since 1975, but never had more than 5 or 6 at a time. Three of my current guitars are not getting played very often, which makes me feel a bit guilty.

  11. i deliberately rotate the electric guitars that get less use periodically so i remember what they do and so i'm sure i still need them. instruments i don't ever want to play get sold. there are two or three electrics that are standing on the verge of getting moved on.

  12. I vote Fauves' Avitar the best I've seen on here :D

  13. I have 5 (plus a wallhanger cobbled up 12 - string); none of them are Gretsches. I plan on being down to one ( plus the 12-string) very soon. Since basses weren't included, I'll leave all those out.

  14. 20 something.

  15. I've got 6 guitars (two Epiphone Casinos, a Ric 325, the Pro Jet, an Epiphone EJ 160E, a "Rocky" Strat) and a Hofner bass. On my wish list is a 5120 and a 12 string Ric.

  16. 8 Gretsch: 6120-60, 6118, 6129T, 6128, 6131T, 6136DS, 400C, 6120SSUGR Epiphone EJ200/VS, Aria proII TA40, Arita, an old banjo, (broken) Hofner 12 string, Double bass. Lizzy

    And ofcourse there's a wishlist...

  17. Just 3, though I plan to add a Tele sometime soon. there are another half-dozen on my wish list but I can't free up enough playing time to justify them.

    1. 3 acoustic, 1 bass, 4 electric. All of which are shown here, on a wall rack I jusy put up Friday night. I played 6 of them yesterday, owing in no small part to their accessibility...
  18. '63 Gretsch Tenny '81 Greco Les Paul 3 Strats inc a genuine '63 '61 ES330 Tele Blackguard replica Home made 000 slot head acoustic (Stew Mac kit) Recording King ROS-626 acoustic c1900 Washburn New Model parlor Washburn 12 string acoustic '61 Hofner Club Danelectro Pro '80s Westone bass Home made cigar box guitar & lap steel

    So that's er.......too many :|

  19. Today, I am down to four. There are 8 guitars in the house, but they aren't all mine any more. I am sharing with my kids.

  20. Desperately trying to slim way way down (to two) due to selling house / job situation, as of now 6. Was about 10 including banjo, Beatle bass, uke. But broke down when confronted with a black phoenix a few month back. And bought that reasoning it would make it easier to sell the others.... Hmmm... Didn't work like that ;-) sold the bass, regret it, sold the banjo, uke, hofner club. Still need to convince myself to sell my projet, no name rockabilly semi, old 1980 aria.

But always browsing eBay for oddballs.

  21. why? wanna buy one?

    I got several for sale.

  22. 16, although 1 is not really playable.

  23. So that's er.......too many

    No such thing.

  24. A dozen right now:

    1. My 6122 - 42 this year, still goin' strong
    2. Strat - 'cos everyone should have one at least once in their life
    3. Ric 370/12 - for my inner McGuinn
    4. Fender Precision Bass - from a past life, but still a great piece
    5. Takamine jumbo 12 - my main Irish folk gigging guitar since the 80’s
    6. Takamine dreadnaught 12 - backup for #5
    7. Fender FJ70 sunburst 6 - also for the Irish folk band
    8. Takamine jumbo 6 - backup to #7
    9. Spanish-made ¾ scale 6 str flamenco
    10. Beaver Creek (Chinese) 6 str acoustic camping guitar
    11. Beaver Creek 6str florentine cutaway nylon camping/couch guitar

    And finally-

    1. Epi Les Paul std, unknown age and origin – my moment of pawnshop weakness, now a case queen due to almost never-ending issues.
