Anyone else smoking ribs in the snow today?


Baby backs on maple. One more hour to go. Roasting last of my butternut squashes in the oven too. (Soup).


Don't I wish I was doing up some BBQ for the game!! I'm drooling........

I just took 8 gigantic Chicken Thighs off the Weber, now in the Oven. Hickory-smoked, sauce to come...

Making White Sweet Potato Oven fries, too.

Then some Adzuki Beefy Baked Beans, Tomato and Feta Salad, Cole Slaw, Black Rice and Mango Salad, etc.

I wish. The afire household is trying to eat a little better in 2018. French lentils with chicken andouille. Which is actually quite good, but smoked ribs it is not.


It's a balmy 72 degrees here ... no snow at all ... trees are starting to blossom. Spring is sproinging!


I don't eat pork, ever, but smoking meat in the cold of Winter sounds great.

I'd opt for a brisket or just some good burgers!
