Last Tape OP magazine brings a wonderful article with T Bone (in fact, the issue is fantastic from beginning to end) and he talks about gear and stuff. Here's the part that he speaks about the Black Falcon:
"I do exactly the same thing I do now as I did forty years ago. I use the same equipment. I just got a new guitar from Gretsch, a Black Falcon. When I was a kid, I aways wanted one of those White Falcons, except I didn't want it because it was white. I thought, "You know, if they ever make a black one of those...". We (Robert Plant + Alison Krauss) were rehearsing in Nashville. I walked into a guitar shop and there was a black guitar sitting there. I pulled it out and it was a Black Falcon. It's the first new guitar, out of the box, that I've bought. I've being playing it onstage and it just rips..."
I saw him with Plant and Alison and it was amazing. What a cool guy.
