McGuinn, Hillman, Marty and the Superlatives

Great show tonight here in DC... all the Sweetheart of the Rodeo cuts, Byrds classics, some covers and Marty and the boys with their own short set, and tribute to Tom Pettty. McGuinn chimes out on the Rick 12, Marty does the b-bender workout on the Clarence Tele and rips it up on mando...great vocals --those guys still have the voices like decades ago.

When released that album went nowhere -- it must be something for them to see a crowd standing and cheering it 50 years later.

Maybe maturity and expanded tastes come with age. I wasn’t that interested in it fifty years ago but would like to see this show now.
