For the second year in a row,Paul will be demoing Gretsch guitars at the Sweetwater gearfest in Ft.Wayne tomorrow(June 23).His show is scheduled for 9:30am.Anybody else goinging to be there?

Almost knocked me outta my undies he was so good.

Crowbone-I saw him at last year's gearfest.Awesome presentation,but they only let him play about 50 minutes or so.I made sure I told Sweetwater how great he was on the comment cards they had us fill out.

Hand him a guitar in the street!

Hi Everybody-Just got back from gearfest.First thing to report is that Paul said he had just flown in from Vancouver so to him it was like 6:30am intead of 9:30.But he still put on an awesome show.What was different was in addition to the normal demoing of a dyna 6120 and filter White Falcon sounds,he demoed one of the new resonators from the roots collection.He really raved about it.He also hinted that he and Brian Setzer MAY BE attempting to do something together in the fall.Anyway,a good time was had by all.

Twom why didn't you come see me I was there standing next to Paul afterwards!! I would have loved to meet you! I was the fat guy in the plaid shirt. I was the guy that asked the first question, I wish I could have thought to ask him about his albums and where everyone could get them. I am such a dork around great musicians!!!Ugh!! I did talk to him later and he gave me his new acoustic album, it was on a credit card! Yup that's right a credit card!! You just type the info off the card into the proper sight and it downloads the album onto yer puter!! I will right more later about the day when I get the pictures off the camera! What FUN!!

I saw Pigat at a 40 seat venue called the Troubadour (now defunct) in Toronto, Canada. He's amazing. Incredible performer and a rock solid player. I couldn't stop watching and my buddy was spellbound. Don't miss a chance to see him play.

Here are some pics, Paul really did Gretsch proud and made the three guitars on stage talk! He even introduced us to the resonator spider cone from the roots line. Very nice little twelve fret beauty! I played it after the show and it sold almost immediately after I played it!
