will gretsch filters fit into a 5120. planning on getting a em kit from ripley. and a gretsch pickup ring for jvjones. i see the dimensions on the filters a bit smaller than tv's. could they still fit doing it that way?

Yeah, it's been done a number of times by folks here. You may need to fill a hole or two from the original HB pickup rings and drill new ones for the TV Jones bezels, but it's really no major surgery, and it'll all be covered by the new bezels.

Yup. I had filters in my 5120 and the kit from Ripley worked great. If I can find the pics I'll post them for you.

This is a pic of filters with the stock surrounds in my 5120.

It's a 2006 5120. The only thing I needed was the mounting kit. Everything else fit like a glove. Those are the original bucker surrounds. I'll look for more pics. I know I have them.
