Low Profile HS Filter’tron Screws?

1

Do low(er) profile pole screws for Gretsch HS Filter'trons exist?

The large filister head pole screws are a big part of the sound of a Filtertron. You'd change the sound of the pickup quite a bit by putting something else in there.

I see. Mine are all the way down, with the bottoms of the heads hard against the pickups. These HS Filters are in a 2005 6120 and have more output than for example, TV Classics. I do like them a lot, but I'd like to get a tad more distance from the strings while keeping the bodies of the pickups where they are. This is a Fuji-Gen Gretsch, so the neck angle is shallow and I did remove a tiny bit of wood from the braces to lower the pickups. There is room to remove a bit more without worry, but thought I'd inquire into this solution first. Regardless, I'm loving these pickups.

So...big filister head; big sound?
