the pickups on my 5120 aren't really cutting it for me in the rockabilly department..im debating on which gfs pickups i want im thinking maybe a dream 180 in the bridge and a retrotron nashville in the neck but i dont know if that would be a good configuration..also mixed reviews on the nashville..thanks in advance!

Mean 90s would be bad to the bone for rockabilly!
Their Dream 180s are sweet too. Many here love the NY-II.

P-90's would definitely give you that Scotty Moore / Sun recordings thing, but I'm not sure that an NY II wouldn't be too big for the pickup holes to mount them. I know TV Jones pickups are a big investment, as I just bought a pair of their version of the HiLoTrons in an English Mount for my G5122. I did this because a) I wanted that Gretsch Sound b) I'm fussy about overall sound quality of my guitars c) I wanted more "Twang in the Thang"

If you're going GFS, forget the Nashvilles. Go with the Liverpools or the Memphis pickups. They're more sparkly and spanky than the Nashvilles IMO.

I 2nd the Liverpools or NY IIs. The latter being more dyna-ish, and the former more filter-ish.
Good luck on your mods.
