Filtertrons' in HiLo mounts??

I have a '62 Double Annie and, as great as they are, the HiLos aren't quite doing it for me. I was wondering if there are any options pickup-wise that will work in the guitar, without permanently modifying the guitar?
Thanks

I'd asked the same thing when 1st joining up here, and the quick answer is "no".
A vintage Hi-LoTron is just not the same size as a Filter. Personally, I love the sound of mine, wouldn't change it for the world.
Any pickup you put in there, is going to require cutting holes in the top to fit, and there's no going back afterwards.

One of the most asked questions on GDP. If you haven't done it, get those pickups raised up with foam, mouse pad, whatever and extend the poles out just a little bit so they are as close to the strings they can be without touching. Makes a big difference.

Would Dyna-Sonics fit? I am open to any pickup options..

Setzer has put Dynas in one of his Annies (now owned by another GDPer), and you can see/hear it in the "Tri Annie" thread.
Dynas have long magnets, so some cutting is still required I think, but not as much as for Filters.

There really is no easy/drop in answer/solution. If you really dont like it, maybe negotiate a trade for an anni w/ something else. Otherwise I would simply look into a new guitar (which isn't an option for everyone of course.) but Then again after mods a lot of people really like their 5120's.
You've got the pro-line thing going already, and Hi-lo's are just awesome pups if you dont go too far beyond overdrive. So you might wanna give the electromatic's a shot, maybe find the 512x (24-29) models. Maybe try a corvette, or a new Jet with blacktop filters.
Dynas/DeArmonds/2000's/T-Armonds are not the way to go in my book.
