I have two 6120's with TV Classics a thinking of changing pickups in one of them since they sound nearly the same. Have anyone tried the TV Classic Plus? Will it be a big difference? Or mabe the Powertrons?
I also have a pair of SD Dynasonics wasn't it someone here who knew how to mount them in a Filtertron guitar?

Hi!! I changed in my Gretsch the Filter-Tron for Dynasonics.You can take the same holes of the bezel.Just over.Is the same housing. Maybe you´ll need a couple of foam shims, but it is easy job. Hope I help you!! Goog luck!!

Get one with a TV Jones Magnatron at the neck and a Supertron at the bridge. A Hilotron at the neck is nice too.
I prefer my pickups not to be wax potted and TV Jones lets you order them that way.
I'd go with the Dynas too. If I didn't already have a set of HS Filters for the 5122, I'd be going Supertron neck and standard Filter in bridge (like Chet). Or Supers all around, they're capable of nice warm/rich sounds.
