Wine thread

101

Gibson Les Paul Deluxe, 1974
I don't know if it stretches the definition of "wine" to include cherryburst. Cherry wine? Bursting on your palate? If it doesn't belong, I'll remove it.

102

Westone Prestige 350, 1984
(More cherries bursting.) When the Japanese transcended their "lawsuit" copy phase, they started working on guitars inspired by, but better than. This was presented as the perfected Les Paul. It kinda is.

103

If that's the way we're rolling then let me add a little burst cherry rosé a la G&L.

104

Since we are bending the rules a bit, here's a 2001 Super Gretsch.

105

And a 1996 Orville Les Paul Junior.

106

And a 2006 FSR chambered mahogany Tele.

107

I don't think those three are rule-benders at all; they seem perfectly winey to me.

108

Does this count? Guild Newark Street Starfire IV (with a Tru Arc).

110

My two rosé-colored Ovation Electric Storms. Left is a 1970 Tornado, right is a 1968 Hurricane.

111

How about a little white wine? BTW, those are TV Jones Power'trons in it.

113

duojet55. Love those Ovations.

114

For a long time I wanted a Yamaha APX-10 to go with my APX-10N.

115

Natural is not wine.

– Strummerson

Come on, Strum. It's closer to the color of white wine than white would be.

116

Yeah, I don't know what food color group to put naturals and blondes in. I mean, maybe it looks a little white winey. But "wine" doesn't pop to top of mind as a descriptor for naturals. Grains? Maybe grains.

117

Grape or grain, but never the twain.

118

A fine burgundy. 1965 6119 Tennessean.

120

I know it is heresy but there's this.

121

How about a little white wine? BTW, those are TV Jones Power'trons in it.

– Don Birchett

It looks more like beer.

122

It looks more like beer.

– BuddyHollywood

Dang, you drink some awfully pale beer. :)

123

Rick's wine red,Burgundy Glo.

124

Love burgundy glo. A 381 6-string would look phenomenal in burgundy glo. Not to mention, a 360f. Capri too.
