This was nice from Rickenbacker

Bob- I'm pretty sure the Hoffs model had Ric's version of a humbucker in the bridge position.

Ric, the bridge pickup is a Rickenbacker humbucker. That, the vintage toasters, bound neck and checkered binding on both body edges are what differentiates the Suzy Hoffs from a standard 350 Liverpool.

28

Susanna Hoffs even played the Ric before they gave her a signature model....

Also check out the kool Vox teardrop bass.

I love Ricken-buckers. Did an A/B with the Fralin noiseless P-90s on my b bender LesPaul... and as you might expect the Ricken-buckers were a little louder and fuller sounding, but it was really close.

Hmm, no mention (til now) of Carl Wilson, who had his own signature Rick, too.

Annette Zilinskas, former bassist with The Bangles (nee, Bangs) with her Vox V284 Stinger IV bass.

Please note....when I posted my Suzanna Hoffs photo...I didn't "drool"....I wanted to, but, I didn't.

He he!

You are just doing this to make Tavo mad, aren't you?

I didn't know Setzer was a Rickenbacker player. I tend to think of him more as a Guild guy.
