The herd gets bigger again!

Ok so it’s a bit of a basket case but I’m up for the challenge!

3

I challenged Ric12 a week ago if we needed to conduct an Intervention...he had gone all-over-the-top Gretsch with a couple new, spontaneous purchases...

Now, we need bring the I-Team to Vancouver?

I didn’t post a pic of the 34 Gibson L75 that came with it. Man... maybe I do need an intervention

5

ES-140?

– Mel Waldorf

Yes. Think it’s a 53

6

Wow!

You're flush with some cool stuff!

7

The disease spreads. Not even Canada is safe.

9

Wow, cool project! I hope it comes out great!

10

You are truly a man of real courage, Paul!

Wishing you all the best with this great project -- enjoy!!

11

It will be cool to see this one resurrected.

12

Are you shooting for a relative "OEM", are you going to put 2 pickups in it and "soup it up"? I love that kind of project--sans the binding.

Best. Travel. Guitar. Ever.

14

I vote for kool red sparkle finish

15

Sweet guitar Paul. Can't wait to see how this turns out.

Plus 1.

17

I know it's early, but do you have any thoughts to the finish.?

18

Look forward to see this come along!

I think we all agree that sunburst is the most handsome of all guitar finishes.

Updates for those that care. Fixed the enlarged pickup hole and most of the top binding is back on

Back in the late ‘80’s, I had a ‘50 ES-140 that still resides on my kick-my-own-@$$ list for letting it go. LUV those things!

The Ronco Pocket ES-175.

Good on ya bud. Keep us posted about the process of her rebirth.

Missed a spot with the masking tape. :)

Nice work on the pickup route. What's the plan for color?

I just barfed!

I'm not a fan of sunburst, either. Considering the condition of that body surface, I can understand paint vs stain. It's your guitar, tho---if you like bursts, fine. What's important, tho, is that you're saving an old guitar.
