Who makes replacement tele bodies finished in nitro? Ebay is crawling with licensed nitro necks, but very few nitro bodies, unless you want to pay an arm and a leg to get real a real fender one from you know who.
Project tele parts source.

Guitar mill does Nitro, but not cheap either. What I've seen is very nice though.

Actually they look like they could be on the money. It's encouraging when exactly what you want is amongst the standard options offered.

Warmoth.com is a little pricey but I think their stuff is great and you can choose any wood and any pickup configuration.
You can get nitro in aerosol cans from Guitar Reranch and it is easy to do (a little time consuming, but easy). They have authentic Fender and Gibson colors that are spot on. My avatar strat is a Warmoth spruce top ash body with a three color sunburst finish that I did with aerosol nitro from Reranch.

I would've gone the reranch route, but you can't ship nitro lacquer from the US to Australia.

I bought a nice one from Musikraft and had them finish it in nitro for me. I thought about doing it myself, but I'd rather not sacrifice any more brain cells.

You can smuggle it in if you conceal it in a bag of heroin.
