Haven't posted in awhile. traded some stuff, sold some stuff at a local guitar show so had some fun money burning a hole in my pocket. From left to right, a 1966 Bobkat (I am replacing the aftermarket tuners with originals), a 1988 Fender Heavy Metal (HM) strat I didn't really want but a local kid needed some cash for an acoustic recording session. The color is more salmon/pink than shows in the pic. No idea what I am going to do with this one. Good shape but not really for me. 1959? Kay Style Leader well played but I like'em rough around the edges, finally an Aspen 12 stringer. This is my first 12 string and I am loving it. very well built , bought it on a trip, flew home with it and it is still perfectly tuned. Also got the B-15N flip top Ampeg the other day. Needs a good cleaning up and I need to get the lucite light up plate, replace the grill cloth, but otherwise solid and quiet.
So that is what I have been up to the last couple months.

I might have an extra thumbscrew for the HM...I'll look.
That Porta-Flex is killer!

Thanks Setzer. The Porta Flex is in better shape than I thought. I don't think it has the original speaker but I actually have an old Jensen from an Ampeg Gemini II that I may recone and put in.

Nice gear notenuff. I love those old Ampeg Portaflex amps. I used to use a B18X guitar amp but it was just so darned heavy, I ended up getting rid of it. Another regret of letting somethig so good go.

thanks bear. I just got it from an older couple that were going more acoustic. Other than being a little dirty, it is in great shape. I do need to get the light up glass piece though, they are so cool. I sold my Vox Viscount to get this, that Viscount was just way to heavy.

check fretsonthenet.com for a replacement fine tuner. He may have what you are looking for.
