NGD Vintage Mosrite


The main differences between late 60s and early 70s Mosrites is cosmetic - the different headstock logo, some different finishes (including the red burst) The primary difference as far as your guitar is concerned is the tuners - 60s Mosrites used Klusons, and in the early 70s Semie seems to use lower cost Japanese tuners. Other differences that aren't relevant to your guitar would be bigger fret markers and some have bigger frets. Also, some have humbuckers and some have unusual wiring, often with vol/tone bypass switches.

Mel, thanks for the info. The tuners leave lots to be desired. Klusons are much better but I don’t plan on messing with it and changing them out.
