NGD: Godin Nylon SA

Hey Mitch, is it a Godin ACS that you just bought? I have wanted to lay hands on one of those for a while. I've got a Gibson CEC and the neck is pretty wide and flat on it. Have wanted to try the 'slim' Godin model to see if my hands fit it better than the Gibson. I guess the tone on the Godins is really nice. Post some pictures if you can. Bob

I sent it back. I didn't care for the construction or sound. I used to have Gibson Chet CE and should never have sold it. Loved that guitar and now looking for a decent used one again.

Funny. I had one for awhile too - neck was WAY too narrow at the nut for clean articulation. Thought that was very odd on a NYLON-STRING fer gawdsake.
Sound was good, for what it was. But it just didn't feel classical enough to live with.
I still have my LGX-SA, the electric/acoustic steel-string mag-pickup version of the same guitar...until I get synth access in a Gretsch.

I think I've found the Godin that I might like. It's the Duet Ambience. The sound is more 'acoustic' and less acoustic-electric, I guess cuz of the 'microphone' mix along with the bridge pickup. I may get one of these. Here's the one I ended up buying The Multiac Duet Ambiance 1 7/8" width at nut.

And getting this to play it through:
