If anyone knows where I can get one or two I'd greatly appreciate it.
thanks.

What's the difference?
Are you sure that DeArmond made any lefties? I've been watching DeArmond sales on UK ebay for over a year now, and I can't recall ever seeing one. Not saying they didn't make any, but if they did, I haven't seen one...
Good luck on the hunt, though. DA's are great guitars.

Deke,
Methinks Drgonzo just won the perspicuity prize, my man. I've been looking at this thread, and I'm a southpaw, thinking, "Why don't you just buy some DeArmonds and set the poles upside down?"
But Skydigger is looking for a DeArmond GUITAR. I think.
Sky, I haven't ever seen a lefty DeArmond guitar. I'd love to steer you to a lefty Electromatic Gretsch, but I've never seen one of those, either.
If you're after lefty DeArmond pickups, I don't think they exist. And neither should they. Just set the poles up in the mirror. Far less difficult than shaving!
I own a Black lefty DeArmond M75T (only 25 made).
I just missed one on ebay and I'm trying to talk the buyer into selling it to me. Also Southpaw guitars in Houston has a lefty Starfire for sale...

They kick ass. I'm just trying to start a little collection that's why I never specified which model I'm after.

Ah...
I didn't mean to confuse you Deke...
I'm after guitars, not pups.
When I think of Gretsch I think of Filtertrons, not DeArmonds...
They are awesome pups though, thats why F*nder bought them out & discontinued them...
Well I'll be...
First time I've seen a lefty DA. I guess they either didn't make it to this side of the pond, or the owners of any that did aren't parting with them. In over a year of searching for DeArmond's, I've never seen one for sale in the UK.
Good luck on your search. The two Jetstar's I've got are amongst the best built and best playing guitars I own.
Cheers... G
I found 2 (possibly 3) more lefties for sale today, now if I could only afford them.
One of them is another black M75T which I already own. Since they only built 25 I thought I should tell the seller, but it's not like these MIK DeArmonds are going to be collectors items in my life time...
EDIT: Gonzo, they only built these for a few years so thats partly why they never exported them overseas.
I just bought a L-H DeArmond M75T. How do you know there are only 25 made?
Sorry for the late reply.
AFTER I bought my BLACK lefty from Southpaw I was told that there were only 25 Black lefties made.
He could have been BS'ing me, but when I told him he sent me the wrong guitar he asked for pics. he said he couldn't believe it because he hadn't seen a black one for over 2 years and that only 25 were built...
MIne is in mint condition, but I'm looking for an M75 so I can do some heavy modifications to it...
