Well, if a picture is worth a thousand words, a smile is worth a million. Some of you may remember that I gave a Fender acoustic to my friends daughter and she played it up-side down. For a ten year old she showed a bunch of talent, even up-side down.

Now, I have zero patience when it comes to fine craftsmanship, but I was able to switch my old 1964 3/4 valco department store guitar over to lefty.

Tonight I brought it over along with a 5 watt amp and some headphones. In five minutes time she was playing the bass line for Peter Gunn with the biggest smile I have ever witnessed.

Damn I feel good. I'll post pics if I can. But here's the guitar before stripping and converting.

Please forgive me. In my excitement I forgot to mention that I would not have attempted to do this without the help and advice from many of you here. That being said, you can all share in my joy. You people are the best. Stand up and do the happy happy joy joy dance.
