No pics yet, but I thought you'd like to know that I recently got an Epiphone Emperor Regent blem from MF for $505.00!
It's natural and I love it to death! I love my Gretsches, but this has a great acoustic vibe and plenty of sustain.

I used to have one in natural and it was a wonderful guitar. I miss it. Congrats!
Yes, I should have mentioned that I got it in natural as well. It plays really well and loves the flatwound acoustics that I've put on it.
Long ago, I snagged one in sunburst but was really unimpressed with the finish. There was really no gradual "burst." It was sort of an orange teardrop inside a black border.

That seems to be a company stock photo, look at the writing on the headstock. Cool as anything!
It's a really interesting guitar and much different than my Gretsch.
Show us some pictures fuzzydice...I agree with you on the finish...I have 2 SB's and the finishes are acceptable to me...but I would really prefer the finish shown in your link above Dan
The "Epiphone" logo on the headstock (from the link above) is different...

True dat. Epiphone has been cutting back their line rather severely the last few years, especially the higher-end models. Several models were discontinued completely (Zephyr Blues Deluxe, the Riviera and Jorma Kaukonen version, FlameKat, Sorrento), others are still available, but with fewer finish choices, many natural only. The Elitist line (top-end instruments made in Japan's Terada factory) is all but extinct, with only a few remaining models and colors.
Even their bread-and-butter Les Paul and SG copies are available in fewer finish options than a few years ago, with only the most popular still in the catalog.
That sucks. Oh well, when it finally does "come up on my list" looks like I'll have to buy a used one... because I WANT A BURST.
I havent seen a SB Byrdland advertised in over a year...or a Broadway.
Gretsch apparently stopped offering their traditional burst patterns with the 6192 as well. (at the same time they quit using spruce for the top wood)? I'm not a fan of the full burst styles...the original burst pattern has been around for many years and available on all top of the line archtops.
Thats too bad as the SB in my opinion is the best looking finish---I like blondes and natural finishes too...but SB better :-)
