I want to get a Gretsch Deluxe Vintage Leather Guitar Strap for my DSV. I've seen the prices range anywhere from $40 to $50. Who has the best deal out there?

I've played mine for over a year and haven't gotten a scratch on it from the strap. I even keep it on the guitar when it's in the case. No worries.

Thanks for the info, but I can't really afford another custom strap at this point. I will keep those guys in mind for the future. I have a couple of beautiful handmade leather and suede straps so I know how tempting it is, but I ended up getting a Gretsch walnut deluxe strap from Blackridder - $42 plus S/H. It seemed to be the best deal around and they look really cool!
With this Gretsch strap and a "pop art" strap that I got at Guitar Center yesterday, I'm finally at the point where each one of my guitars has its own matching strap, so now I don't have to deal with swapping them out anymore or using generic "accessory" straps (I must have about half a dozen Fender straps). It's fun to try and find the right strap to match each guitar.

I have one of the Medina cowboy vintage straps... very nice. I picked it up on eBay for $60 a few years back and I know they go for $125.
