DB...have you got the Pig back yet? What upgrades/mods are you having done?
I'm interested in this pedal; it certainly sounds like the realdeal in the sound clips at the site.
It's odd I'm having a similar relationship with the PTronix ADSR. From Steve Hunter's use of it at NAMM, I was sure I would get on with it. I've spent hours with it, one way and another, and find some cool stuff, but nothing very USable I don't already have in other pedals.
So I was ready to Ebay it, but then I went back to the site and listened to samples again, and would have been ready to buy one all over again if I didn't already have it. Maybe other guys have more intuitive insight into how to make it dance than I do.
That's where the Disnortion caught my ear, and Echolution as well. I gave up on the E-H Dlx Memory Man because it's unusably noisy, and haven't been able to find a modulating delay that really makes me happy...and the Echolution sounds like it could be it. But it's pricey!
Nother amusing thing though. I read through the Echolution reviews on Harmony Central, and practically every ONE of the reviewers reports a problem with their pedal – despite which, they claim it's built like a tank and theirs was "the only one" which ever had a problem!
Does PTronix stuff come with a reality distortion generator or something?
