Paul Yandell's Bigsby trick...

  1. See my post above with photo. These are copies of vintage screw in style that I had made.

  2. Copy that Paul and that makes sense. Do you or anybody know what era those screw in style pins were used? About mid sixties is the oldest Bigsby I've ever owned and it had roll pins if I remember correctly.

BTW, I was ignorantly confused when I questioned 6 roll pins for $25 so sorry about that. Those screw in pins take some decent machining so $25 for a set is very reasonable.

  3. I found a very difficult to come across Selmer B3 that copied the 50s USA version.

Although told by the seller it was in "perfect working order", when I got it I found out that the prototype treatment for the Yandell Bigsby was performed on it. And not in a careful way.

I am hoping Setzer's pins fit the Selmer version (ironically they look exactly like the Selmer version as Selmer's screwed in with flat heads not the hex screws). If not, then I'll let you know how it goes.

==> I also need one or two snap rings for the dowel if anyone knows where I can find them--I'd be most grateful.
