ONLY ONE PEDAL SURVIVES ARMAGEDDON! - What would it be?

27

My Reverb unit.

29

I only own 3 pedals. The DOD FX-90 is nice as well as the Ibanez FL-5, but I could not be without my beloved Fulltone Supa-Trem!! :D

31

Since I only use one it would have to be my Dyno Brain. 8-)

34

I just started using this again about a week ago. I'm not normally into pedals at all, although I can barely even play without reverb.

35

If Tavo doesn't post an explanation of that thing soon, my head might explode. I keep coming back to this thread just to look at it!

I found this explination on his facebook page...

Its happening as requested from Buzz Campbell who ends up being a test pilot of sorts using my stuff on stage with Lee Rocker and at his own gigs that vary from Casino gigs running direct to the board, bars, etc. This will have Independent channel vols, bass and treble controls, and switchable/blendable effects loops for delay or compressor.custom amp style circuit board with full size parts like a vintage build from the 50s. I am fabricating a mini board the same way a vintage fender eyelet board is. got an engineer making the board design for me so I can put full size amp parts in it. Its my flagship. I want a little window on the bottom so you can turn it over and see your custom engine complete with engine light... Not going to be real affordable with all the parts involved but its the nature of the beast trying to create an ultimate Lead Sled of a pedal that does it all.

37

Whatever Overdrive that doesnt sound like a stomp box can stay. I haven't found one yet.

38

I might have to side with the General. Love my Custom Comp

A good delay pedal (my indestructible amp would have reverb and tremolo). Who needs a distortion pedal when all the whiners are dead and you can turn the amp up?

Good Point! With that thought in mind (that I would be able to crank my amp for crunch), this would be the pedal that survives for me:

Korg CHR-1

It has 2 modes: chorus; and phasing. The chorus is warm, without having that overpowering sound that most 80s era choruses had, and the phasing mode gives you seriously trippy sounds (tunrn it up to high rate in this mode for faux 12-string sounds).

43

Hey Hermitt...it's post apocalypse...you won't need talent!:D

44

Oh my, you're not familiar with the Spice Pedal...? ;-) ;-)

45

From the look of it, the only pedal more minimalistic would be no pedal at all, yes-no, or are you just thinkin' spice...box..., nudge nudge, , hint hint, point taken? :)

46

Yeah, it's a pedal with a piece of wire straight through it. Apparently that wire came from some 'legendary' recording console, hence adding some 'spice' 8-)8-)

49

now i'm hearing that in my head with the lick from the verse in "Polk Salad Annie"...."that's Spice..." DAH-dun-dun-dun... "...Pedal UNHHH!"

50

I thought the Spice Pedal was used by The Spacing Guild.
