If anyone has any input on Fuzz pedals please post and give me your opinions. I was kind of leaning towards the Boss Fuzz but ive seen rave reviews on the $30 cool cat fuzz. Im looking for something no more than $100.

Go to Guitarproshop.com and watch their videos. That is what I'm doing right now.
What kind of fuzz are you looking for?
BYOC has some good fuzzes if you are inclined to build them yourself.

The reason why you couldn't find anything was because I gave you the wrong link. My bad. :) Try this. http://www.proguitarshop.com/

Hello! bodr1,
I recently bought one of these(ultimate 60's garage sound and first Stooges album):
Ashley Brass makes these updated(true bypass)replicas of the Mosrite FUZZrite. They're well priced and go from nasty trebly mosquito to a more bassy lower gain "broken speaker" sound with the depth control. It's also possible to reduce gain a bit with the volume on your guitar but not to go completely clean as on other Fuzzes.
If looking after a more Hendrix(fuzz face) or Jimmy Page(Tonebender MKII) the BYOC kits are good quality, nice price products as long as you are patient and concentrated to build them. It's good fun too!

I have a Fab Four and a Big Muff, but don't use either. I was preparing to buy an MXR fuzz when I read that the MXR DS1 basically does the samer thing plus...
I am not a big distortion fan, but this pedal covers the bases from Cranky to Smooth. And if I just want to go dirty I use the Bad Monkey.

I think GeneralGuitarGadgets.com sells a Shin-ei circuit board and/or kit for DIY stompboxes. Lots of guys on SurfGuitar101 rave about the FuzzBrite pedal, as well.
I've been on an overdrive hunt for quite a while now, and have recently realized that my inner ear may be looking for something in the fuzz family instead of overdrive - some of that trashy, garage-y Link Wray stuff that I'm not getting out of the overdrive pedals I'm trying.
I just got a nice deal on a Seymour Duncan TweakFuzz from The Gear Page classifieds - it has a 6-position rotary switch instead of a tone knob, and the sweep of the Fuzz control seems to cover quite a bit of ground. I'll try to post back in with my initial impressions once it arrives.
And I'll add another vote for ProGuitarShop's Youtube demos - that's become a primary source for me when looking at new pedals.

I think I'm going to get one of those BYOC fuzz kits. Should be a nice introduction to electronic trickery.
