If anyone of you is looking for a dirt box for mild overdrives or boosting with detailed control over the headroom and a nice open sound then plug this (http://www.emmaelectronic.com/products/OnoMATOpoeia/OnoMATOpoeia.html) in if you run into it. I got one recently and use it both live and at home with my G5222. Gain-wise it's similar to the tubescreamer family but the sounds are much lesss middly, more open and detailed. Also there's more output with low gain / high volume settings, which is useful for clean boosting.
The bias control is very interesting too, making it more adaptable to smaller amps and allowing for heavily saturated but still not highly overdriven sounds. Very Gretsch-friendly too, I got great sounds with both my TVJ Filter and Dyna-equipped archtops.
