Thanks Archtop 13 for turning me onto Rich at Sterling Amplification. I just got one of these and all I can say is best build on a 5E3 I have ever owned. All top quality high end parts great price and awesome 5E3 tone. Rich makes his own pine vintage cabinets and selects all his amp parts. He doesn't build someone elses kit. I am running 6l6's in mine for now with a GZ34 rectifier. If you are considering a boutique amp contact him it will be worth your time. Ralans51 AT comcast.net

Everyone was impressed with the amps.

Just updating this in case someone is looking for a versitle awesome 5E3 . 2/22/13 I just recently went back to two JJ 6V6 and and a RCA 5Y3 still plenty loud but the amp seems a bit more responsive to when I attack the strings with my pic. The amp has no problem with pedals either it likes Tavo's Atomic Brain. If you are looking for a 5E3 big booming explosive tweed sound you won't go wrong with the Sterling. The build quality is as good or superior to a lot of other so called "Boutique" high $$$$ buck pay for the perception of the name on the amp on the market today. If interested contact him directly he is still small enough to give you that personal extra you won't get other places.
