Back in the late '70s, I had a HUGE Randall combo amp that was like five feet tall with 6x10 speakers. I remember the size and the orange stripe across the top, but that's all. I also remember that it was a bitch to get it into the car! Does anyone know what line or model this was?

i can't help you there, but it brings back memories of a fender super six reverb. not too fond memories, i must say. it was like a twin with six speakers and that in a time where i didn't even have a car!

I think you might be referring to the Commander series.
I had a Commander II combo. I had 2 12's and was LOUD!!!
Great Fender cleans, and it dirtied up well. Had a really good vibrato on it as well..
