hey Boss pedal dudes

1

Anyone know anything about this --seen while I was troling Reverb for CE-2s.

"CE-2's are older Boss/ACA adapter requirement - so either a Boss ACA adapter, 9v battery, or 12v adapter powers it - a typical everyday 9v 200mA adapter will not be sufficient power, the light will be dim and the output distorted (in a non-desirable manner). Plenty of info on the internet about this little quirk that some older Boss pedals have."

So if you use a 12v adapter as stated here for the chorus, will that harm your other Boss pedals (for me just TR-2 DD-3, and maybe reissue vibrato later...

Also, on Boss battery operation one thing I have never known is the battery in use right from when something is plugged in the input, or does it have to be input plus in on position (light on)

I got several CE2s...standard 9v adaptors work fine.

Plus Boss ACA are still floating around cheap

Boss pedals begin consuming power as soon as you plug you cord into them.

Hey man thanx -- I never knew.

Also getting intrigued by DM 2 Delay

DM-2 is the best delay.

I spent 2 years trading/buying/selling delays after I gave my DM-2 to a friend as a gift. It was the first delay I ever owned and got interested in trying out other ones.

Holy hell! was that a mistake. I eventually ended up back with the DM-2 (got a pair of them)

You won't regret it.

Good to know. Now actively trolling for DM 2 and CE 2

That's the input cord. Output doesn't matter.
