Fender EC Tremolux (WOW)

1

Check out this Video I found this last night from the AmpSho.com, man this amp does sounds great with all these guitars. I love mine but have yet to crank it up … the loudest it’s been on about 3 ½ maybe 4, these guys are cranking it to 7, 8, and even 10 from the looks of the video. I may have to have a crank party at the house and see how this thing sounds cooked…. I would love to get a bad ass OD but just hate the fact that most kill your low end. I almost bought an old Chandler Tube Drive (90’) (rackmout or pedal) but thought I’d wait and see what others are using.

Stu:

Try the Wampler Ecstasy. Actually 3 OD circuits in one pedal. The "Open" setting is just that, and my favorite due to its open quality. Very effective level and tone controls on this too. No mid hump, no loss of bass. Works very well with tweed types. MD

Stu, this is the exact reason why many of us gretsch'rs use the TIM pedal by Paul Cochrane. The bass is kept out of the clipping circuit so there is no compression of the lows.

Cool, thanks.... so whats the difference between the Tim and Timmy.... just smaller???... what would be the one to get. I'm not worried about space or having to move it or take it anywhere....
