I just got one and will be hearing it during the european round up for the first time outside my living room. Looking forward to it. It is a really nice amp. That and my 62 Bassman, what to choose, what to choose.

ok nice. I had a bassman -64 but it was way too loud and it broke down during a rehearsal. I hope that the deluxe is gonna make me happy

Yeah they are loud but they really sound great. But the deluxe is very nice too. You'll enjoy it.

Mine arrived last week. Bought it on Ebay. One minor issue with the volume control but thats all fixed now - had to clean it. Great freakin' amp. With the external speaker jack I'm goona be able to add another 12" - maybe two.
If I was going for really loud a Bassman or a Super Reverb might do the trick.

I have one. Great circuit design. the reissues are a bit lacking in the speaker area. You'd do really well to replace the speaker they come stock with a Jensen C12N. I also like the sound of a solid state rectifier over the tube rectifier. GrooveTubes sells a plug-in for 15 bucks that's great sounding. A little more snap and headroom...also it's less taxing on the power transformer when you use one of those.

I have a reissue. I bought it used and it had some of the favored upgrades: JJ tubes and Weber 12F150 Ferromax speaker. Sounds really good--but not exactly like my old '64 blackface, but good enough, for much less bucks. I don't have to worry about it either, take it out, throw it off a cliff, buy another...
Also came with a Weber Coppertop Rectifier, adds some punch and a bit more headroom, but I also like the stock rectifier. Sounds very good with my TV Jones'ed G5120!
