Not crazy about 4/10 bassman 59 reisue's but used one the other night playing with the Hot Rod Trio for the Fender Double Tree hotel show, pluged into a Nocturne and mxr delay and man it sounded good !!! The Nocturne really helped out that reisued Bassman !!! Can't wait for Tavo to complete my Blonde Bassman !!!

My Gomez El Sonido is also in the shop having a Mercury Magnetics OT/Choke installed and the Bass Channel modified for 6 string guitar. So both of us are waiting to see how it turns out.

I own a Victoria 45410 (59 Tweed Bassman clone) and they are wonderful amplifiers.

I'm happy with my Bassman LTD (the later version of the RI)but I'd sure like to A/B it with a Victoria like Tom's.Anyone done that? What did you think?

I've heard a few Victoria 45410s in action before, and they are nothing short of spectacular with Teles or Les Pauls.

As good as a Tele sounds through a Tweed Bassman, a Strat is even sweeter It's a match made in heaven.

The 45410 likes Gretsches too. Very nice amplifiers that benefit greatly from speaker break in, proper bias and good tubes.
