just after a little bit of advice from the amp builders/repairers out there. I have a 4x10 Tweed Bassman clone. Hasn't been gigged or played seriously for a few months and it's doing a couple of weird things. Just wondering if it's anything potentially serious.

Switch the amp on, wait a few seconds and then flip on the standby switch. Normally nice and quiet, but every now and then there's a loud POP when you flip the standy on. The volume is set at zero, by the way.

Same when turning off the standby. I always set volume back to zero when doing this. Normally it just turns off quietly, but every now and then it turns off with a loud POP followed by a short and gentle "fizz".

Whether it pops or not, it behaves nicely when playing but there is sometimes the odd quiet crackle here and there.

Any ideas?
