A Purty Amp Deserves a Purty Cover

1

Y'all may recall this drop-dead gorgeous amp I got from Powdog. If not, here's a refresher:

But given its entire construction of pretty wood and no tolex, I wasn't about to go carting it around until I got a suitable cover for it. And Custom Amp Covers came to the rescue. By just giving them its dimensions, not a lot of cash, and my intended appearance, they flat nailed it:

They offer gold piping, but I chose not to stir up any trouble and didn't do that. If it didn't look so good and sound so good to play through, I'd be tempted to just leave it covered up.

Perfect accessory. Have fun playing through that, Frank. Will it become a primary gigging amp, do you think?

3

Nice outfit, Frank!

5

That came out very nice Frank. Guess I should have thought of that.

I love the fact that gold piping is still a running joke, more than 10 years (I think?) after the original thread - it was hilarious.

Frank and Powdog, that amplifier really is a thing of beauty.

7

Send it back and have them put the Gold Piping on. Its gotta have it!

I think that they did a smashingly great job! It looks fantastic!
