for a few months after they quit making silverface, but before the 'Rivera' series (AKA the 'II' or 2 series) they put black faceplates on them amps again, but internally they were the same as the silverface.

They are valued similarly to equivalent silverfaced amps.

I bought one of those new to take to university. Only new amp I've ever bought.

I still have it but the speaker blew long ago and I converted it into a Blackface Vibro Champ a few years back and retrofitted a 10" Weber speaker.

The only trouble with those amps - if you plan to do a 10" speaker swap - is that the chipboard speaker baffle is glued into channels on each of the cabinet side walls.
