Ok, I'll take another stab at some trivia...
Sylvester Stewart (Sly And The Family Stone) was a record producer prior to fronting his family band and did sessions with the Beau Brummels. I loved their "Laugh Laugh".

I was 14 in 1963 and being a keyboard player there wasn't too much until the British Invasion hit.
The Animals' tunes still hold up.
Rod Argent's stuff over the years has always been top notch.
The Tremeloe's were the first band that I'd ever heard that sounded better live than on record.
As y'all know Rod Argent fronted his own band, Argent, later on. "Hold Your Head Up" was one tune that made it big. Great keyboard solo! I think they performed that on American Bandstand.
so i guess y'all missed the recent US-tour ...?! ![]()
site!
as far as i know he still has his keyboard-shop in London's Denmark street.
Can't add the link (why?), but check out the Yardbirds' 'Heart full of soul' down the YouTube listings:equally fab.
That was too cool! Takes me back in time for sure. I thought the tiger tail hanging out of the bass player's pocket was excellent!
I saw some incarnation of the Yardbirds about 3 years ago. Good but not like some of the earlier line-ups.
THe Zombies...Wished I'd have known. Don't think I saw Florida on the list.
the zombies without question one of my favorite 60s bands .
