Pedal Steelers blow my mind. They are to me like those guys who can carry out the square of a number into the millions and do it all in their head. That being said, I LOVE hearing this stuff, especially knowing how challenging of an instrument it is.

I think he's turning the volume or tone knob with his pinky finger to act like a wah wah or tremelo, depending on what sound was coming out when he was doing it.
