Cool tune, Dr! Great surf tone...what's the guitar?
Only suggestion: it could use more chordal punctuation at the ends of phrases to break it up, while you're waiting for the new phrase to start. The staccato lead sounds great - so do the punching chords. Just wanna hear more of the chords!
DrGretsch, not being a surf player to speak of, is the muted tone just something that is a function of slightly palm muting the strings as you play?
What makes that specific guitar (which appears to me to be a Jazzmaster) so ideally suited for surf music? It seems to be the iconic surf guitar.

Looks Mustangy, didn't know if it might be a more obscure brand, though. The good Dr's been known to dabble in imports...
Actually, it might be a Duo-Sonic too, can't really see if there's a whammy bar.
