Clapton (Gotta love the sax at 1:36)
Apologies in advance!
No, no, not this morning...I gave myself a headache last time I watched these, from laughing so hard for so long.
Have you seen the Van Halen one? And the Spanish guitar player whose name I have forgotten...so dramatic and serious...while playing Dueling Banjos.
This guy's sense of humor is tops.
Oh, there's a Steve Vai video that is the funniest of them all. Done by a fellow known as St. Sanders.
Paco De Lucia, Nobody!
Paul/FF909
Yeah, these are great. I read an article in one of the guitar rags on the guy that does them. Hillarious! The Slash Shreds one is really funny too!
The actual Steve Vai video is funnier than the spoof.
Clapton stole my leads!
I never saw that before... I'm crying I'm laughing so much - the sax is priceless as is the crowd reaction. Oh Jesus, I'm gonna watch that again....
I've watched a few of them now - the Santana one was hilarious too - just absolute chaos on stage - brilliant. My sister came into the sitting room a few minutes ago with a bemused look on her face 'what the bad word are you laughing about?' I'd show her but I don't think she'd find it as funny. That Clapton vid though... can't get over it.
Paco, that's right, Paul. Oh that just killed me...and with the whistle and applause in the background...very Monty Python.
Hey D-Man, my wife just came into the room also wondering what was so funny. She didn't really see the humor either. I think it's because that's what she's used to hearing every day while I'm practicing. Sounds normal to her.
Man, I freakin' laughed loud with tears, alone in my house. That Clapton video, jeez... I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. The "Eddie Van Halen Shreds" and "John Mayer Shreds" are great, too.
