"You didn't even ask Curt what he wants to trade. What if he wants to trade his Club for it? I know it's a long shot but you never know." --Buddy Hollywood
That's because I know that Curt's sense of humor can be slightly twisted at times. One has to know when to take him seriously.
"Belle will be flattered to hear about you naming the guitar after her. I can tell you she needed something like that after losing my father in law. She recently told me that the last Roundup was the most fun she had in many years, and she was honored to be a part of it." -- fieldhdj
Doug, I sure hope she can make it to the next one too! I enjoyed spending time with the whole Fieldhouse Arkansas entourage!

The thing about the 125th is that they don't really photograph well. The Jag Tan just never looks quite right. In person, though, the more you look at them, the better they look.
And the sound? Wow.
It's like a hired killer in a well-tailored suit.

WOW...very Nice..I'd never put her down....

Congratz! you have a winner there. They are very sweet guitars. I personally like the Power'trons

Congratulations. I love Annies, and hope to make it to the 2012 Roundup, and maybe win a cool guitar, too!

These are the ones with the "ML Bracing" right?
When I first saw the ML Bracing my very first thought was of the "Goldilocks" fairy tale with the three beds, and the ML bracing looked like it might be the "just right" version of Gretsch bracing.

Nearly 5 years since ML bracing was introduced and no new guitar models. I believe one dealer web site said the 125th Annie could no longer be ordered as of mid 2011, not sure how true this is.
Only Gretsch/Fender would know how well ML bracing translates to other models such as the 6120.
Has the fairy dust run out?

If that's the case, then I must have one of the last runs. My serial number indicates a born-on date of June, 2011.

Love my 125th annie but did not get along with the Powertrons, swapped them out for classics and now it is an amazing guitar. I had the issue of too much bass with the powertrons. The ticket for me was the classics along with a Dyno Brain, gives all the umph you could ask for but still has the "clear tone" the powerterons lacked. Use an overdrive with it and it gets as "heavy"as you would want.

Another pic.
I do agree that this guitar looks amazing in person, but it is hard to capture it in a photo. To me the color of the sides and back is as good as it gets. Put some gold classics in it and "bling" it comes to life visually and sonically.i do like the red felt under the knobs, nice touch.

I believe the reference was to no longer taking "dealer orders" after mid-2011. Still, there is no official annoucement at retail level.
Like most guitar manufacturers there is a pipeline which takes time to clear, usually 1yr or more depending on the manufacturer backlog to fulfill current dealer orders and the number of units already in the channel.
130th anniversary is next year.

Yes, it is, and you can expect the Jag Tan model to be retired in favor of a new Anniversary model in 2013.

Credit where credit is due on the felt spool pad idea-- I "borrowed" the idea from Wenzel-- who was the first to employ it that I'd seen:

Thanks, Dave! It helps that she's a graphic artist by trade.

I got mine off of Ebay, but just do a search for "felt spool pad" and you should find some. Or look for a place that sells sewing machine parts.
