Modern Gretsch Guitars

That's a very well considered specification. It came at the very end of the "Fred" era, just before FMIC took over responsibility in 2003 - but it predicts many of the changes FMIC would make: TV Jones pups, vintage-lookin' headstock, vintage-style wiring harness (though this one has been tweaked).

But by comparison to a '58 or '59 Jet, it's specific to Elliott's needs, with the 25" scale and the fixed bridge studs rather than floating bridge. (Which makes it a little like the Players Edition guitars Gretsch is making now.)

Very nice Jet. Someone will be very happy.

This belongs to Fendertweed here. It is listed in the garage sales section. I like it but don’t plan to buy it.
