Here's my Country Club, an unexpected member of my collection that has endeared itself to me with its beautiful voice. This picture was taken during the critical cat scan process.

Here's the newest member of the clan, a unique guitar that has really added to the sounds I have available to me.

On to the Fenders, my 2004 Anniversary Model American Deluxe Strat. This is one of the most interesting guitars I own. The Samarium Cobalt Nickel pickups and the S-1 switch give it a lot of versatility.

Next is an unusual one, a 2004 Jaguar Bass VI. This is an E-E baritone that can cover the bass part and does wonderful low and twangy parts. It's not quite as good as a Bass VI, but for about 25% of the price I'm not complaining.

Here's the mouse that roars, my Mustang Bass RI. I wanted a short-scale bass and this filled the bill. I love the sound, sort of a P-Bass Lite.

It's pretty decent Jukebox. No one is going to confuse it with a Martin but it holds it's own. I might/could be persuaded to part with it.

Here's my MIM Tele, the oldest guitar I own. It's been modified with Fender vintage-style pickups in the neck and bridge position with a low-dollar Tex-Mex Strat pickup added in the middle position. The pots are no-load 250k audio taper and a 5-way Strat switch. It's a Tele that gets the Strat in-between sounds but avoids the thin sound that plagues some Strats.

Nice collection Mark! Better than mine... Now all you need is a Jaguar and a Jazzmaster. Trust me, you NEED them!

My other Tele is a Korean-made, set-neck guitar with a carved top and dual humbuckers. It's sort of a cross between a Tele and a Les Paul copy and the H/Bs are tapped so you can still get the single coil sound as well.

I don't have a pic of my Godin Nylon Duet, a shortcoming I'll be addressing soon, but here's a stock photo to at least give you the idea. It's a thin-bodied electric with a routed solid mahogany body and the L.R. Baggs Duet pickup system. I find the sound more natural than many of the other electric clasical gutiars I tried.

This is my only true custom-shop instrument, not to suggest that it was all that expensive because it wasn't. It's a short-scale Warwick Corvette fretless with a Wenge wood neck. It weighs slightly less than my pickup truck but sounds much better.

I saved the best for last, my Heritage Eagle. I ordered this guitar in 1992. Any archtop that you buy blind is a gamble but when I first played it I was more than pleased. It was exactly what I had wanted it to be. It is so loud acoustically that it always surprises me when I play it. There are a lot of more expensive and more ornate archtops out there but none that appeal to me any more than this guitar. I hope to have it for the rest of my life. Here it is keeping company to a couple of my Gretsches.

I wasn't going to post, but heck, here is an old family snapshot.
The family has grown since I took this picture...
Chris - I found some time ... I am practicing this week and will post a file soon!

Thanks Chris.
I have given some thought to a Jazzmaster, maybe I will one of these days. Right now, just keeping my home heated is having an inhibiting effect on my guitar buying. This winter used nearly $2,000 in propane and I'm still not done. With lows in the 40s I'm expecting another 2 weeks of heating season ahead of me.

Yeah, heating sucks... I've been paying 66% more in the winter for electricity than any other time of the year, even with the A/C running. Oh well. I also found that it's cheaper to use electricity than to buy oil for my oil heater furnace. I save about $100 a month by using space heaters, but my electric bill is still over $300 every month. Oil would cost me $300 every 3 weeks if I was using it as my sole heating source...
Ok, back on topic now...
57 Chet, glad to hear it! Those are some nice looking flamenco guitars you got there too! I like the pegs on the blonde.

mark, when was that 6120n with the sharp cutaway discontinued? it looks great, i cant say id prefere it over a recent 6120's, but its a nice little adition to any collection, a bit of variety aswell.
